Do you drink milk?
Unless you have a problem with dairy, don't swap your cow’s milk for almond milk. That’s the advice of registered dietician Jaclyn London. She says they both have the same number of calories, calcium and vitamin D… but almond milk can have extras you don't need or want. Like artificial ingredients to make it taste creamier… and added sugar, to sweeten it. So stick with regular ol’ milk, unless you have lactose intolerance. And in that case, look for unsweetened almond milk…… or go for unsweetened soy milk, which has as much protein as skim dairy milk.
