Roller coaster danger!
You know those warning signs outside roller coasters that say “Do not ride this roller coaster if you have a heart condition?” Take them seriously! Because riding a coaster with a steep drop, that goes over 100-miles per hour, alternates between moments of gravitational pull and weightlessness – where your organs literally float inside you. Also, some roller coasters are violent enough to reach forces 4 times greater than the Earth’s gravity. And can push your heart rate to 200 beats per minute… and trigger dangerous changes to heart rhythm. So if you have a weak heart – or a weak stomach – sit out those extreme rides.
