Avoid headaches with fresh pineapple!
Low air pressure is the number one trigger for head-splitting sinus headaches. And that’s what happens when a storm is coming…The fix? Eat more pineapple. It’s loaded with bromelain – an enzyme linked to reducing the sinus inflammation and mucus buildup that often cause weather-related headache pain. Researchers say we need about 500 milligrams of bromelain to counteract a storm-induced headache. Which is the amount we’d get from about 4 cups of pineapple. So, when the forecast calls for wild weather, slice up some pineapple and snack on it all day. But it has to be fresh – not canned. The canning process destroys most of those healing enzymes.Follow me on Facebook
