Have you ever been bitten by a dog?
It may be because of your personality! Research from the University of Liverpool found anxious, neurotic people have a higher risk of dog bites. More than 12-hundred people took a personality test, and were asked if they’d ever been bitten. 1‑in‑4 study subjects said yes, mostly by an unfamiliar dog. And bite victims were much more likely to have anxious and neurotic personality traits, like feelings of fear, guilt, panic, and depression. So if you tend to be anxious or neurotic, you may want to avoid strange dogs. Because your risk of being bitten is higher.
