The way we sneeze reveals a lot about our personality.
That’s according to neurologist and psychiatrist, Dr. Alan Hirsch. He says sneezes are like laughter - some laughs are loud, some are soft, and it’s a reflection of our personality. Doctors say the shape of our nose and face has a very small effect on our sneeze style. And most of it is actually controlled by us. For example, an outgoing person usually has a loud sneeze to match. While someone shy tends to sneeze softly. And attention-seeking people tend to have sneezes that sound explosive - while cutesy personalities have sneezes that make them sound like a kitten.
And we usually form our sneeze style as children, and it stays constant throughout our life.
