It’ll mimic some of the health benefits. University of Oregon physiologists had sedentary people relax in a tub of hot water - roughly 104-degrees - up to their necks, for about 15 minutes. And those who did that every day for 2 months had lower blood pressure and more flexible blood vessels. And on top of the heart benefits, exercisers also got relief from muscle and joint pain by soaking after a workout. That’s because a hot bath expands and relaxes blood vessels while increasing blood flow and oxygen.
